Some great bands and DJs, friendly waiters/bartenders, good food and drinks. Watch out for the free shots . . . they can be deadly :)
Nice set of restaurants including Fuze with nice cocktail recipes from around the world. Also good for a day use - the new portion has really unique architecture.
For a girl who's been eating sushi since I was 5, this is one of the freshest I've had - and can't beat all-you-can-eat for 135-150LE. Great variety and good for friends who are non-sushi eaters.
Great ambiance and view of the Nile. Another good place for a mixed group - sushi lovers, mezza lovers, shisha lovers and drink lovers.
The sushi is so-so but great for a close by pop-in. Also love the little dishes (sometimes including kimchi).
Nice mix of a place - great garden space to watch football matches (bring the bug spray in the warmer months!) shisha, Pub 55 downstairs w various performers/music.
Amazing compound - mix of military and Islamic history. Beautiful views of downtown Cairo.
Great after hours spot (operates 24 hours). Try the chicken shwarma or chicken grill. The marinated tomatoes are fantastic.

Need to try the one in Zamalek - the best decor out of them all. Traditional Egyptian fare.

Good food, great service. Difficult parking but there are a few regular parking guys who are super nice, there to help. I recommended the Light cheese sandwich or the Nutella crepe a Necafe w milk.
No place better if you want to indulge on various type of ful, tameya, and a salad bar with anything from olives to beets, to tahina, to baba ganouj.
Any and all type of oriental sweets. Get there early during Ramadan! Must experience watching the guys cut up the basboosa or konafa!
Wonderful to see the many old steel rotisseries. Beautiful garden atmosphere. Freshly made bread by ladies who'll give you al loaf on your walk in. Try everything!
