This is my go to in the South End. Feels upscale without the upscale price. Customer service is always fantastic & their pizza is one word-yum. Save room for (my fave-black raspberry) ice cream!
The decor reminds me of something out of a Vampire movie, but a good one like "Interview with the Vampire". You might even find a tasty Brad look-a-like to enjoy a drink with. My drink Pimm's cup.
When I'm too lazy to go out, these boys deliver. And FAST. No matter what I get there it's always enough for two meals. Did I mention they're cheap? Woot!
If I were on a deserted island... Mela would be the one restaurant I needed. Chicken tikka masala, onion naan and a mango lassi. Copper colored walls & glitter table tops. This is my happy place.
The gnocci here was better than... It melted in my mouth and melted me. Make sure you have reservations and wear something fun. Fantastic date spot.
Besides becoming addicted to the banana pancakes while I worked here, I became a huge fan of the spunk my fellow waitresses had. These girls give food with a 'tude and always made me smile. Cheap eats
I've had the atlantic salmon here...twice. I try not to repeat things so I can try more plates, but you can't fight perfection.
I may have had the turkey burger over a dozen times here at this point. The price is great, the meat is flavorful along with the melted swiss and mushrooms. I dare you to eat this and still be hungry.
Almond joy or milky way? I don't have a favorite sandwich here because I like them all. Make sure you have cash and get a drink card for free drinks in the future... you will be back.
This food will make you miss your mama. Italian style with a home cooked feel that will never leave you hungry. This place is tiny and gets packed quick, so get there early.
Diner feel, cheap eats and full plates of food. Ham, rye toast and eggs over hard, here I come!
Not sure why this is posted as an ice cream shop. This place has EVERYTHING. Including liquor and it's open super late. Great spot for the after bar munchies.
Fried chicken and waffles? OMG. I don't think I can eat them any other way now! You choose your style of chicken, waffle and syrup for the perfect combo for your pallet.
