This place is a mandatory stop if you're coming to Costa Rica. Unbelievable. Buffet was average at best but everything else is so incredible you won't mind.
We had the junior suite (506) and it was the nicest room we stayed in in all of Costa Rica (including the all-inclusive Hilton Papagayo). Turn the jacuzzi on for an hour or so to get it hot.

We don’t recommend driving at night because you’ll miss the scenery and will also have trouble distinguishing signs and the road’s painted lines. The most active volcano in Costa Rica.
