Take a stroll along the Willamette River. Cross over the Morrison Bridge and the Steel Bridge and you have a 2.75 mile loop. On Saturday and Sunday, there's "Saturday Market".

There are three ski resorts on Mt. Hood -- Meadows, Timberline, and Ski Bowl. If you want to go skiing or snowboarding, it's only 1hr 15min away. You can even ski/snowboard at Timberline year round.

Don't know all the best wineries, but 45 minutes outside of Portland is some of the best Pinot Noir in the world.
