I live two blocks away & have lived in AMS for 5 years. The Babaghanouj burger was completely underwhelming. The one who said that this is better than Burgermeester is right. But BurgerBar best FTW.

Foodie heaven. Very good burgers (truffle one), delicious Vietnamese bahn mi sandwiches, great Salmon Mandela quinoa wrap. And have some local beers (e.g. MAMA or DODO).
And the award for best pizza in amsterdam goes to La Perla... A title well deserved. Omg the dough is awesome. Its a small pizza shop... Good for a quick meal. Their spicy salami pizza was the best

Definitely one of the best art museums in Ansterdam (better than Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum nearby). Great variety of interesting modern art. Good gift shop too.

The best brewer in the city along with the Brouwerij't IJ, but this one got better location and opening hours. Food is also good and on sundays afternoons you can enjoy jazz concerts for free.

Beautiful authentic Chinese joint is a pearl amongst tourist traps in the area. Get the Chinese spinach with garlic, and the duck pancakes are great (Cantonese, not Beijing style).
