Balin: Great (and dangerous) spot to find all the coffee table reading that you never knew you needed in your life!

Balin: Super American-style diner! Free tap water, bottomless coffee, big fluffy pancakes and I had the pleasure of Joni Mitchell playing in the background. "Oh, but California. California, I'm coming home."

Balin: GREAT spot for breakfast or brunch if you have heaps of time. Food takes quite a while to arrive, but the ambient is nice and the juices and bottomless coffee help pass the time. Outstanding pancakes!

Balin: Relatively small portions, but the taste and texture are great. If you're along the canal and looking for ice cream, this place is a safe bet.

Balin: A nice blend of extremes with nature having reclaimed a former industrial space; easy to access by catching to the S2 or S25 to Priesterweg. Heads-up: the fare gate doesn't accept 2€ coins.
