Begun in 1891, all that remains of the original church after it was bombed in 1943 is the old tower, the “Hollow Tooth.” The new church comprises four buildings in addition to the tower.
Formerly an army building, the museum’s Kaisersaal (Imperial Hall) features photographs from Berlin’s rich history.
You can sample one of the eight beers on tap, including Berliner Kindl, or try one of the 30 brandies and liqueurs made in-house. If you’re hungry, the menu offers traditional Berlin cuisine.
