Ginta Lavina: If you want traditional Latvian food for cheap moneys, try Lido bistro. My favourites are liver/potato pudding, cabbage roll and some fish dishes. Try oat flake cream in berry sauce for a dessert.

Mārcis R: Recommend, really trashy and cheap place right in the centre of expensive expensive Old Riga with wonderful eastern european-russian food classics pelmeni. I really like these but expect trashiness :)

Andrejs Starovoitovs: Great for breakfast, juicy sandwitches and marvelous cheesecakes. Coffee on high level as well.

Kārlis Vilnis: Remember to ask for "Buy 10, and 11th coffee comes for free" coupon. :)

Aleksandrs Borovenskis: Great Coffees, great music, great atmosphere, great staff!! If you're hungry, ask for panini w/ turkey + curry (they're gonna warm it for you, worth every cent).
