There are a lot of good restaurants in Newport. Here's a manageable list to get you started. Not complete by any means, but a nice range of my favorites.

The nachos and a Tequila Sunrise on the patio is a great way to kick off a Friday afternoon.
In the winter, fireplace. In the summer, water's edge. Upstairs you'll find America's Cup history. Great Newport stop.
