Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Great for kids. Good selection of tubs. Sauna is only for World Class members unfortunately, but the steambath outside will do.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Local favorite. Walk-ins after 18:30 so no need to book a table, but expect to wait at the bar. French brasserie style food with an old school nordic twist.

Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Arguably the best fine dining experience in Reykjavík. Along with Grillið. Book a table. Expect to pay, but you get what you pay for.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: One of two Rvk Roasters locations. This one is bigger, more modern and less busy. Knowledgable baristas. Ask about the beans. Start with a Kalita pour-over. Flat white is off menu.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Busiest weekend brunch in Reykjavík, but a good sign of quality. Get in early or a book a table for taco tuesday dinner. Arguably the best sourdough in Reykjavík, second to Sandholt.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Hard-to-find craft beer bar. Lots of things to love; whimsical interior design, huge and rotating selection of beer and beautiful glassware.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Part of a local burger franchise. They vary ever so slightly, and this one comes on top in terms of consistency and service. The only one owned by founder Tommi.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Poor to average quality lunch/diner, but makes a caterpillar-butterfly transformation during friday and saturday late nights when it turns into a world class hip hop dive bar.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: By-now-legendary indian fine dining. Book a table and don’t miss the salmon starter. The same people run a lunch version at various Hraðlestin locations.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Tómas is the grumpy front of house, while wife Dúna grunts out 300+ thai dishes all night. This is the soup nazi of Iceland. I swore to never come back after the bad service, and here I am. Again.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Slowly falling out of favor along with the retro-beatenup-interior-chic. Kitchen makes value-for-money dishes without the value part. Still deserves as recommendation for the atmosphere.
Jökull Sólberg Auðunsson: Great fine dining or just cocktails at the bar. The restaurant is of a very high standard, much higher than what you would normally expect for this branding and interior. A weird mismatch.
