Some out-of-the-way or otherwise hidden gems in Emerald City.
1. Cilantro Cocina Mexicana Taco Truck
Jon Culver: Best Mexican food in Seattle. Really unfortunate it's in Factoria.
2. Boxcar Ale House
Jon Culver: Pretty killer songlist. Pretty 'meh' service.
3. Picnic Point Park
Jon Culver: Nice views of Whidbey & Puget Sound.
4. Pike Place Bar & Grill
Jon Culver: Completely hidden, right in the middle of the market. Great food, good low-key hideout.
5. St. Clouds
Jon Culver: Everything on the breakfast menu is delicious, and their scotch selection inspires confidence.
6. Rob Roy
Jon Culver: Easy to walk right past it, but easily among the best cocktails in Seattle.
7. Kate's Pub
Jon Culver: Good service, friendly vibe, and karaoke on Wednesdays. Everything you could ever want from a neighborhood dive bar.
8. Ezell's Famous Chicken
Jon Culver: Ezell's is not on most "Top 10 Things You Must Do in Seattle" lists, but it damn well should be. Trust me that you want the Spicy.
9. Uptown Espresso
Jon Culver: There's a lotta good espresso in this town — Uptown is the ticket.
