You can only see the inside of the castle if you go on a guided tour. The wait is usually 30 minutes or so... if you're not interested in the tour, I still suggest going to see the outside.

This is where you should go if you wish to see some great moderns and contemporary art. Former Royal Hospital Kilmainham, this has great works by old masters such as Dürer, Goya, Rembrandt, etc.

This urban park is one of Ireland's best, and one of the biggest of its kind in Europe. Make sure to stop by the Magazine Fort, the 115-high Papal Cross, and the Ashtown Castle.
This was built in 1220 to honor the Patron Saint of Ireland, St Patricks. It stands next to a very famous wall where it is thought that St Patrick baptized people during his visit to Dublin.

Quite a historical site, and a few artefacts to look at. A must for any tourist interested in a little Irish history. Plus the staff is super friendly!
