恐龙湾是个地区海滩公园，同时又是一个州立水下公园，目前恐龙湾是夏威夷欧胡岛上最受欢迎的景点之一，特别是在夏天的旅游旺季，不到上午9点就已经找不到停车位。恐龙湾因远看像是一只趴着熟睡的恐龙而得名，这里海洋生物众多，是夏威夷最理想的游泳及浮潜地之一。此外，海洋教育中心(Marine Education Center)是带孩子们学习保护海湾的知识好去处，在这里可以观看短剧表演和一些展览。
