Nice home-cooked Polish food. Potato pancakes, kielbasa reuben and lots of fish dinners/sandwiches are the winners. It is the best land-locked yacht club you'll ever experience!
Awesome lunch special (more like lunch and dinner special). Wings, Whiting or Pork-chop, all fried, with 2 sides for $8. Soul Food heaven!

Fried in the fat of beef bricks cooked before it, these rectangular burgers are chopped off the brick and served in hotdog buns. Nom Nom.
OMG. So good. Not a bad pie in the place. Sit down comes with a nice salad and a balsamic/mustard dressing.
2nd location for the Eastern European shawarma place. Chicken is marinated and then cooked which differs from Middle Eastern methodology which slow roasts on a spit and then smothers in garlic sauce.
Interesting style to the BBQ but it really didn't hit home for me. Sauce was more vinegar based and the rub was nice. Missing the smoke I have come to prize over all other attributes.
Tacos here are amazing. Options include sea scallop, lobster and shrimp. Worth the trip to Springwells area.

Long time family owned place. Great burgers cooked right. Decent draft selection - courtesy of Atwater Brewing right up the street. One of Detroit's best bars tucked away from virtually everything.
