Lezlie Whaley: I know it's a chain but it's very good & reliable. Try the guacamole which is made fresh daily. Awesome! They also feature two happy hour periods during the week.
Lezlie Whaley: The original Cameo with the best pizza in Sandusky. My husband & my first date many years ago. This is one of the places where people always return when they visit back home.
Lezlie Whaley: A great spot with a soda counter decor reminiscent from days of yore. They sell Toft's ice cream at great prices. Nestled in the back is a quaint little coffee shop area with couches and comfy chairs.
Lezlie Whaley: Tucked away next to the railroad tracks, this is a locals' spot. The decor is slight but food is mouth-watering delicious whether you want seafood or steak. Chef Jamie will make you welcome! Upscale!

Lezlie Whaley: A local treasure which started our downtown renaissance. This fabulous Paris-like spot has divine cuisine; stop for an elegant meal or appetizers & cocktails. Ask about happy hour, 4-6 weekdays.
Lezlie Whaley: Same owners as Zinc. A great wine bar that features small plates and wine tastings (also has beer & cocktails). Less formal than its sister, but same ambiance of big city elegance. Love both places!
Lezlie Whaley: Another chain that is reliable here. Steaks and seafood our fab. I prefer the filet mignon or the halibut. Try the blue cheese vinaigrette dressing on any salad. Fabulous! Great wine & beer too.
