great ribs, shepherd's pie, curries. nice place to sit outside, can handle larg groups easily. Weird scene at night, but good early evening or late afternoon place to hang
beautiful, quiet, lake with 1.5km path around it. no motor scooters or bikes allowed, nor do they sneak in (unusual in taipei). fishing. trails over the hills behind it as well. Nice breeze in sum
go for coffee/tea and cakes. nice view and atmosphere. couches outside overlooking the lake. entree food is only so-so.
Good strong americano, good strong cappacino. a few lovely tables in the sun, with lots of plants around on a quiet side street on BiHu Lake
the portugese egg custards (egg piles) are great, and they have canele just like in Marseille.
just go and eat here - the fennel encrusted ribs, the green poblano like roasted peppers, the tea shrub mushroom chicken and chestnut soup dessert. probably best chinese food in taipei.
taipei's answer to akihabura but better - get cables made - get soldering done - hire a technician to do a small job - all here - and inexpensive
really great 80% chocolate hot chocolate and many other very chocolate, and very low sugar, items. Includes basic savory lunch fare, but with mole chicken (of course).
