Megan Lilly: One of my favorite places to stop for dessert. Candy by the pound is perfect for a small (or large!) sweet treat, and they also have ice cream, cupcakes, coffee/tea, acai bowls, and more. Such a gem!

Megan Lilly: Casa Oaxaca is perfect for happy hour and dinner. Lots of great flavored margaritas and amazing chips and salsa. If there with a group, recommend trying the molcajete. More than plenty for two!

Megan Lilly: All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ! The wait can be very long for dinner (hour+) so come early and come hungry. Great sauces and sides, too! One of my favorite places to go with a group.

Megan Lilly: One of the most relaxing places! I love coming here for a float session. You can float while listening to your Spotify playlist or just float in silence. Either way, you leave feeling so refreshed!

Megan Lilly: Best ramen in the DC-area! Featured on "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," this hole-in-the-wall spot is not to be missed! Toki can get busy, so make a reservation ahead of time. I recommend the Red Miso!

Megan Lilly: Calico has an amazing outdoor space for happy hour. Don't miss ordering an adult juice box and a slice of the tomato pie. Bonus! On Mondays they have free arts & crafts classes.

Megan Lilly: As a Philly-area native, this is about as close to a real hoagie and cheesesteak as you can get! Bub and Pop's is a perfect lunch spot. You won't leave hungry; their sandwiches are huge!

Megan Lilly: Great, authentic Italian! They make their pasta in-house. I've come to this location for dinner and recommend the three pastas to try family style. They also have another location on New York Ave.

Megan Lilly: Great spot to sample local craft beers. I recommend getting a flight so you can try all the different styles. Cool interior space with lots of seating. They even offer tours on Saturdays!

Megan Lilly: Perfect blend of good food and good beer! Start off with a sour beer and warm pretzel bread. Then move on to a "selfie" and a heavier beer. They also have a production house in Brookland.

Megan Lilly: I've been a fan of Saints Row since they opened. Great spot for quality brews! They often have food trucks, but if not BYO-food! If you have your pup with you, they are dog friendly.

Megan Lilly: Love this 24/7 "dive" (in all the best ways!) spot. You can sit at the counter or outside when it's nice. Can't go wrong with any of their breakfast meals-- perfect for the morning or late night eats!

Megan Lilly: A must-stop location before or after a Nats game, but it does get very crowded! Wide variety of beer styles and amazing food! I recommend the everything pretzel. Also a great place for brunch.

Megan Lilly: Best spot for oysters in DC! Go for happy hour where you can get great deals on oysters, bar snacks, and drinks. Great water views and short walk from the Canopy at The Wharf.

Megan Lilly: From Bei Bei the panda to Moke the gorilla to Redd the orangoutang-- there is no shortness of CUTE at the zoo! Admission is free, so come for a walk in the morning when the animals are most active.
