A great hike in only campground within just over an hours drive from the cities. Cabins year round with wood burning stoves and free wood for around 45 bucks a night! I like cabin 1.
Great place for some sleep if too tired to drive home after some cards and slots. I usually just get a tipi.
Nice shady cart in campsites, not usually crowded either. Cabins are year round with electricity and electric fireplaces for heat.
Nice place to bring a bike and ride while camping. Last years geocache was retrievable with bikes which made it more interesting. Can also bike in to a few sites and camp.
Cheap place go pitch a tent and check out Grand Marais in the summertime. Bring a Sven and Ole's pizza back to your site and listen to people say how good that smells.
Only state park with tipi rental. Sites not shaded at all and in an open field.
