First up the Vancouver Lookout! The glass elevator ride up to a 360º view of the city with the sun shining was absolutely breathtaking; a reminder of why I love this city so much.
10 minutes away is the Olympic Cauldron and the magnificent pixelated Orca whale sculpture! A definite landmark to see! I also advise people to take another visit at night, so pretty when it's lit up!
Next, a trip to the Aquarium was incredibly enjoyable as I find aquatic animals very fascinating! For thrill-seekers, try the 4D experience! It’s exhilarating!
After a tasty lunch at the Aquarium’s Upstream Café, a nice walk along the Stanley Park seawall and soaking in the scenic nature was really refreshing!
Highlight of my day: attending the hockey game! As a Canucks fan, I vouch that, to truly experience the entertainment Vancouver has to offer, one must attend a Canucks hockey game! Atmosphere's crazy!
Last stop of the night is Wings Tap & Grill for the best chicken wings in Vancouver! For spicy food lovers, the bobby wing is a must try! But be warned, it's the hottest wing in the house!
To start the morning, breakfast at the top of Queen Elizabeth Park provides delicious food and a stunning view of Vancouver’s city skyline, North Shore Mountains, and Pacific Ocean.
Next up, a stroll through historic Chinatown where I grew up! There are open markets, unique clothing boutiques, tea shops, and much more to see.
Just minutes away, a visit to Science World bestows an interesting, fun-filled educational adventure. I personally really liked the BodyWorks exhibit!
Lastly, I decided to spend the rest of the day shopping in BC’s largest shopping centre! If you’re a shopaholic like me, you’ll love this mall!
