If you choose to skip Mission:SPACE while the rest of your group goes on the attraction, wait in the air-conditioned interactive play space, Mission: SPACE Advanced Training Lab.
Score more points by shooting targets that are farther away. Also, moving targets are worth more points than stationary ones!
Go at night for a completely different experience. (Keep in mind, going at night can be a little scary for the kiddos.)
If your kids are anxious about the spookiness of Haunted Mansion point out the humorous aspects of the ride or go on Pirates of the Caribbean to prepare them.
Since this attraction lasts about 10 minutes and the queue is covered, save it for when you need to rest your legs or you need a break from the heat.
Take the time to walk through the corridor of Cinderella Castle. You’ll see five mosaic murals which tell the story of Cinderella. Not to be missed!
To spin your tea cup as fast as possible, have no more than 3 people in the tea cup.
Ride 1st thing after park opening, during a parade or with a FASTPASS. Lines are consistently long!
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a good starter coaster. Sit in the front of the train for a tamer ride. If you're looking for a wilder ride, sit in the back!
If your kids look like they’re frightened, lighten the mood by singing along to “Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me)”.
The Ride Photo is taken just as your log flume begins to tip down the final 5-story drop. Want a good photo? Smile!
If you don’t mind being split from your group, use the Single Rider Line. The wait will be MUCH shorter.
Make sure you smile during the 1st part of the ride as you’re going through the tunnel. You’ll use the picture taken here when you design your own future on the touch-screen at the end of the ride.
If MSEP is running twice, watch the 2nd one and take advantage of short attraction lines during the 1st one.
Each game during the attraction is 30 seconds. Start scoring points as soon as possible and listen for the final 5 second countdown.
Sit on the left side of the tram if you want a first row view of the Catastrophe Canyon sequence.
There are several drop sequences. Go several times and your experience will be different each time.
Make sure everyone uses the restroom before taking your seat. You can’t save seats and the entire experience can take an hour (waiting for the show to begin, preshow & actual show).
Go on Expedition Everest first thing in the morning, but grab a FASTPASS first so you can come back & do it again.
Set a time limit for the kids beforehand to prevent meltdowns when it’s time to leave.
If you want to video your children during the show, you can stand in the back of the theater while the other parent stays with them on the floor.
Sit in the front rows of the Fantasmic! theater if you want to get a light mist from the water screens and splashes.
Get in line as the show is just beginning and you won’t have to wait through more than one show. (Most likely a 15-20 minute wait.)
Watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from Fantasyland near Dumbo. Fireworks launch all around you. There’s usually a fun Cast Member “conducting” show & pointing out where to look for the next burst.
To keep your kids engaged for their trip around World Showcase, buy them a Passport kit that they can fill with stamps after visiting each country.
There are plenty of great viewing locations but if you want to exit the park quickly & have an awesome view, watch IllumiNations from World Showcase Plaza with Spaceship Earth behind you.
