My favorite mainstream theater. Mainly just for the experience of going to see a movie in Times Square. Watch out for the tourist crowd though and expensive snacks.
A lovely little art house in the heart of the Village. Shows a lot of movies you won't be able to see anywhere else. Good prices, but the seats are a little uncomfortable!
An arthouse that shows a little more mainstream films. Theater is lovely and the food is fantastic. But, I could hear the train underground every few minutes during the movie. Beware of that!
Nothing wrong with this theater. Has the best popcorn in the city and always a good selection of films. Fantastic places to have dinner in the area and Washington Square Park. Perfect date spot!
A little cheaper and easier to handle than AMC Empire. If you can't brave the tourists, want to save a few bucks, and already downtown, this is a good bet.
Across the street from AMC Empire, you have this theater hosting late night movies. Different selection of movies too.
