Robin Howie: Paramount is a swanky cocktail bar at the top of Centre Point, virtually the only tall building in central London, fantastic views, expensive drinks but worth it.
Robin Howie: A lovely autumn / late summer day trip. They have a tree-top walk and pagodas which is ace, but I also really appreciated the Sackler Crossing... a beautiful bridge designed by John Pawson.

Robin Howie: This is where I went to college and they pretty much always have interesting exhibitions on... if your planning on going to Hyde Park or Museum Mile this might make a nice break.

Robin Howie: Open Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays. Great food... it's a little staged... not quite a 'traditional market'as most tourists declare but a great lunch stop on route to Tate Modern.
Robin Howie: One of the earliest social housing schemes ever built. A pretty neighbourhood near Shoreditch, try Leilas Cafe, the Boundary Cafe or Allpress for Lunch.
Robin Howie: If your lucky you'll be able to catch one of the new Routemaster busses designed by Thomas Heatherwick. Why not catch it at Picadily Circus ride to Angel Upper Street and get a cycle hire back.
