This place is a throwback to days gone by. Wood floors, old school butchers...they are known for their italian sausage. While waiting have a beer at the bar in back.
They have great breads, to-go sandwiches and always hot ham and rolls on Sunday. It is a terrific Italian bakery nestled in Bay View.
They specialize in Polish pastries, perogies and breads. There are few remaining Polish delis in the city.
I recommend everything there! High on the list are their frozen pasta, italian sausage, aricini, and artichoke fritters. You can get lunch to go which is worthwhile.
