This is my favorite place in town, bar none. But then again --full disclosure-- I might not be completely unbiased about it. My nephew's better half Laura is Yola's manager and heart and soul.
They are adventurous and creative, always coming up with new flavors. Plus they have delicious lucuma ice cream, need I say more?
The place to swing by after buying groceries at Whole Foods. Their grapefruit sorbet tops the charts.
They have Dolcezza ice creams and sorbets, albeit at twice the price of Haagen Dasz. But what I get there all the time are Palapa's watermelon popsicles and Dolci's amazing strawberry lavender sorbet
It's far, so don't go if your only reason is your quest for frozen treats. But if you happen to go there, do not miss it.
