In the middle of no-where but car park is always full; so, loved by most who visit. Expect substantial portions. Good log fire pub. Avoid if its likely to snow as very remote and often gets cut off.
Food is much better quality than average pub, well presented + good veg selection with meals. I highly recommend it. Great atmosphere too; modern decor with touch of classic pub with open fire.
Great atmosphere, service and food. They have upheld an excellent reputation for a long time. Food is notch or two above most pubs and the atmosphere and decor exceeds your traditional log fire pub.
Bizarre cross between village pub (complete with open fires) and Thai restaurant. The Thai food however is fantastic (I highly recommend any of the crispy duck dishes). Happy Hour 5:30pm-6:30pm Mo-Th
If you're looking for Italian food this is much better than Joe Riggs! Great quality of food and good service for a reasonable price. Decor is a bit odd and random but food is worth a visit for.
