Nothing over the top about this place, and there's nothing wrong with that at all. Would definitely go back. If staying in one of the huts, do your grocery shopping on the way in from Cabo.
Definitely walk down to the Cerritos Surf Colony and check it out. Guests of the hotel and the colony have access to amenities at both locations.
The secret entrance to the bell tower is o the second floor... Pull open the book case wall and enjoy :)
