Jenna Rose Robbins: This should be your only option for lodging when in the area. The historic home is gorgeously renovated and the owners are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Jenna Rose Robbins: his is the best option to view a rocket launch (depending on which pad it launches from), so forget Kennedy Space Center. Just arrive a few hours before because the parking lots fill quickly.

Jenna Rose Robbins: Enormous statues that reminded me of some of the ancient cities in Sri Lanka. Make sure to get the free tour.

Jenna Rose Robbins: Even though the exhibits leave a lot to be desired, it's still a must-see if you're in the area. The special tours are worth the additional money.

Jenna Rose Robbins: I'd never even heard of this Civil Rights pioneer, so it was well worth the trip to the museum and replica of his home.

Jenna Rose Robbins: We did the night bioluminescence tour, but unfortunately nature wasn't incredibly cooperative that day. Even so, it was great fun paddling through the mangroves by moonlight.

Jenna Rose Robbins: One of the few passable eateries in the Mims area. Everything I had was fresh and good, but the staff is what brought me back for multiple visits.

Jenna Rose Robbins: Super-friendly service. I arrived near closing, so instead of making me eat the stale buffet, they whipped up all new dishes — just for me! Spinach dish is not traditional but delish nonetheless.
