Best Lunch Spot (tie!): Sliders in the Jordan Grand Hotel has received this honor for the past two seasons, but Rooster’s Roadhouse on Route 2 nearly bumped it from the podium. Both are good.
Best Breakfast: Crossroads--This is a three-time win for Crossroads. Very few locals can resist this gem next to Rite-Aid and across from the big intersection between Parkway Rd. and Route 2.
Best Cup o’ Joe: DiCocoa--DiCocoa has delicious espresso, cappuccino, and melt-where-you’re-standing because it’s-so-delicious mocha—and their almond croissants are the absolute best.
Best Bar–Après Ski & Best Nachos: Foggy Goggle The Goggle is in a perfect location for après, what with all the music and the Best in Bethel nachos and the fact that it’s sitting at the base.
Best Martini: 22 Broad/Gideon Hastings--If you’re a vodka fan, ask for a 22 Classic Martini with Twenty 2 vodka, an onion, and an olive.
Best Beer Selection & Best Pizza (tie): Suds Pub--With 29 draught beers on tap, Suds won the Best Beer Selection in a landslide while their cheesy crust tied with the Matterhorn Ski Bar for best pizza
Best Food on the Run: Good Food Store--The Good Food Store offers up homemade heat-and-eat meals, fresh produce, herbs and spices, wine, yogurt, cheese, homeopathic remedies, and so much more.
Best Bar–Late Night: Funky Red Barn--Two-time winner! The FRB is a wonderful family-run, family-friendly dinner spot, but at night it transforms into the Fun Fun Funky!
Best Pizza (tie!): Our first year, Matterhorn won. Second year, it was Suds. This year, it’s a tie between Suds’ cheesy crust and Matterhorn’s fire-grilled flatbread. Both are delicious.
Best International Meal & Best Place to Splurge: Cho Sun--If you think you can’t find international food in Bethel, you haven’t driven down Main Street or spent much time in South Ridge Lodge.
Best Burger, Best Wings, Best Bar Menu & Best Lunch Spot (tie!): Rooster’s Roadhouse. From burgers to wings to anything off of their pub menu, Rooster's Roadhouse is sure to please.
