The Doors: The Doors became the house band here for a week in 1966 where they were discovered by Jac Holzman for Elektra records. Among others, The Doors played with Them, Captain Beefheart, Van Morrison & more!
The Doors: Back in the 60s, The Key Club was called Gazzarri's, and The Doors played here prior to the house gig at The Whisky, just down the street. The club pioneered the "pay-to-play" concept on the strip.
The Doors: A venue of many incarnations, The Doors played their first real club date at The London Fog, which is where Rock 'N Reilly's exists today. It was here that Ronnie Haran discovered them for the Whisky.
