Trina Beana: Love walking this with my dog. Beware of bike riders! A lot of them don't like to be respectful and let you know when they are coming up behind you.
Trina Beana: A lovely quiet place to walk. The trees are breathtaking and labeled for identification and the grounds are the best landscaped. Many historic and famous buried here. Lots of chipmunks.
Trina Beana: A very nice quiet place to walk. Covered shelters for picnics and family get togethers See if you can find the natural mineral spring off of one of the trails.
Trina Beana: This park was started in 2012 so a lot of the paths are not well defined and are unmarked. It could be easy to get lost if not paying attention. Two small ponds and some remnants from the old farm.
Trina Beana: On land once owned by the author, Gene Stratton Porter. Ruins of the Brushwood School House are out front and mentioned in Porter's book, "Girl of the Limberlost". Historic Limberlost Swamp was here.
