20 January: The café has been run by the Pellicci family since 1900, & combines a traditional East End atmosphere with a classic Italian café in a space created by carpenter Achille Capocciin in 1946.

Olives are fantastic, burrata is not to be missed, salad with sun dried tomatoes can be shared, pizzas aren't small (def larger than avg personal pan pizzas) & we loved the pasta & Zorzal vino too!
The right place for pasta. Go for chicken rigatoni pasta its one of the best on the menu, your choice between spicy and mild.
It goes without saying you should be getting a 1/2'n'1/2. But make sure one half has their tomato base and the other has garlic. Your tastebuds will say "thanks bud!"
Sicilian doesn't get more authentic than this..you should try the arancina (rice) balls - we had Ragu - while the pizza is just as superb. Great seating space upstairs too.

Who said you can't find good food in London? Take a stroll down Pimlico road and try this not-so-well-known place. Scallops or any of the pastas are among the best in London.
The cuttlefish & squid ink risotto is amazing, you can book for lunch but not for dinner. If the sun's out - request a table outside. Can't wait to go back.

Very special place, feels like in Italy: waiters sing, teach you Italian language and how to pronounce Cicchetti. Meal is served like tapas. Pasta, chicken liver with a glass of prosecco - is a must!

The cappucinos are legendary here. Pauly, who works the late shift, can tell give you the low down on the area if you don't know it.
Get loads of small starters to share including the grilled octopus. The house wines are good and the whole sea bream is simple but delicious. Finish with a scoop of mascarpone ice cream.

This place was amazing. They're all about combining Italian foods from land (beef) and sea (tuna). The waiters are knowledgeable and friendly -- they won't steer you wrong for food or wine!

Nice atmosphere, filled with Italians. Polenta specialists. Bocconcini & polenta simple & well made. Affogato was a long espresso with a vanilla scoop lost - roll with a tiramisu ;)

Superb authentic little Italian in Clapham. One of the few independents left on the high street. Great service, reasonably priced wine list and good food. Book during peak times.
