Start by getting the Miyagi oysters only (the smaller ones aren't worth your time). Then move on to their fish and chips. Wash it all down with a glass (or two) of Shuckers Ale.
Always oysters, they're the best! Also the shrimp cocktail is to die for! Might as well get some clam chowder too. Usually a wait but come before 12;30 on a weekend you're good to walk right in!
Small restaurant, however, the service was excellent. We were served good clam chowder within 5 minutes and entree followed later. Would definitely go again.
The crab cake is nothing like a Maryland crab cake, but good nonetheless. The calamari is really great, and they have decent cocktails. Little cramped feeling in the back seating.
Very small cutecozy restaurant. We sat at the oysterbar and able to watch prep/cook food. The calamari was amazing and HUGE. Plus the "chips" aka fries were awesome.
We tried the oyster from Miyagi, CA and Chesapeake, VA, and we think the quality is just okay. It's not prepared well. Many shell bits in it. 1/2 lb burger is awesome but I don't think coming back.
Bloody Mary looks better than it tastes, heavy on the clam sauce, so depends on your preference. Fish n chips will melt in your mouth, great tartar sauce too.
They have a great bar offering 70 single malt Scotches, 12 Irish Whiskys, 15 Rums, 40 Vodkas, 45 Bourbons, 15 Gins, 40 Tequilas, 40 Imported Liquors & 8 Cognacs
