I never in my life thought I would say this about the Department of Motor Vehicles but it was actually Very pleasurable experience very fast and efficient and unbelievably friendly staff! Weird right?

Either come really early in the morning or really late around 4ish on weekdays if you need to get your work dine within an hour. Officials are really nice and friendly but it is always crowded

Best days Wednesdays and Thursdays!! Good staff and very polite!

Service is actually pretty good, just call ahead for appointment. No registration or tags here, only licenses. Cash or check accepted.

Make sure you bring cash....forget checks....they like being bribed..

Don't go on a Monday or a Friday

A tickets require no driver test, B tickets require written test an C tickets require drivers test

Make sure you bring cash (or a check) as they don't accept credit cards at the DMV.

They open at 8 so I advise you to be here at 8

Came to switch NY to NC lic. Waited 2 hours. There is an exam, no one told us. NC state specific questions. Horrible, rude workers, its 2012- they don't take CREDIT/DEBIT only cash or check-stupid.

Terrible service i have been her for two hours and people who have been here shorter than i have are going up... Ive been here three times this month awful service.
