Clam chowder is the best I ever had. Parker sampler was awesome and the raw bar trio so good. The food is fresh the atmosphere so Cape Cod and a great bar.
Wow. They aren't lying when they say it's the Best Chowder. I don't like clam chowder, but I could have eaten gallons. Lobster rolls were also very very good. But that Chowder....... wow.
While the chowder is amazing, the one menu item that I get every time is the stuffed quahog. Seriously, it's so delicious, I definitely recommend trying it if you haven't before.
This place is “local fancy.” The fisherman’s platter could have fed three or four people! Chowder was very good; fresh ingredients, very thick. Rich cream taste, not much bribe to it.
The chowder was fantastic as was the entire meal. Our server Ashling was very knowledgable and made the night complete. Did I mention the prime rib!!!!!!
Thought the crunchy fish and chips was going to be super crunchy but it ended up being a nice coating with soft flaky fish inside. And the clam chowder was thick and creamy! Not a fan of the fries tho
Our waitress wasnt knowledgable about any of the items asked about & had to leave the table to ask someone every time we had a question-annoying! was overpriced for sure..Lots of other places to eat!
Prices are a lot cheaper out of season. If you don't have that luxury, expect to wait about an hour in line at peak times. Ordering the clam chowder here is a no-brainer, most of their menu is solid.
Oysters rockafeller are the best! Fish n chips worth driving to enjoy (regular coating) and ask for dinner rolls warm before your meal. They are known for their award-winning clam chowder - just OK.
Guess I should've tried the chowder bc everything else was just a bunch of fried crap. I get that it's a pub but they only had green beans and no other veggies except, you guessed it, fried zucchini
"Award winning" chowder was short on clam pieces and missing briny Clam flavor. Bookbinders is better. Prime rib was done right but tough. Won't be retuning.
