The trains for both directions are only 3 carriages long (at least the ones I observed on a working day evening). That means a longer wait during peak hours

Makkasan station is a very quiet station. I'm imagining a zombieland while i'm here. Lol. But the station is good, and clean, and cozy too!

It takes 22 minutes to Suvarabhumi the International Airport and 4 minutes to Phaya Thai

Wanna go to Central Plaza Lat Phrao—walk to subway MRT Petchburi station (~15 mins, following many signs), then wait the tram to go to "Phahon Yothin" station, Exit 3.

A station with poor ventilation. No fans in sight. On a hot & humid day (or night), expect to perspire non-stop

Be extra careful when you walk to the MRT, the walking path is crowded and accident happened often.

Airport Rail Link station in a super hot and humid city with no air conditioners and not enough seats? This station deserves -100 stars. Such a shame for Bangkok people.

The express line to the airport will take only 15 mins :) But make sure you know the schedule so you can plan accordingly!

No benches or seats available since we have to wait longer for the train! If you guys provide enough seating area probably less people will lean to the safety railings!!!

take the city line to the airport. it is cheaper than the express line.

Don't forget to spare at least 3 hr if u r going to check-in at Makkasan. They r pretty strict about it...oh the catch is u need to purchase the 150bt ExpreesLine ticket (hope it's not permanent)

Now the train's schedule leaves for Suvarnabhumi in every 00 min. Such as 0600am 0700 - 0000 am. It takes about 15-20 min.

Beware not really connected with MRT Petchaburi station. You need to walk a little bit or to take a small shuttle between the two stations.

Express train goes from Kakkasan station to the Airport without stopping. takes 17 min. and cost 90 baht.

Fifteen minutes to the Suvarabhumi Airport. Costs Bht.150.- one way. Worth a try.

No taxi in waiting at the station, since its a ghost town. Luckily controller is there to call taxi. Even then, another -15 mins!
