Walking over the bridge -- day, dusk, night -- is one of the best experiences you can have in New York. Bring a date. Make out!

Both cyclists and pedestrians enter here, so make sure to your own lane—it's dangerous (and illegal) to take the wrong one. Walkers can exit the bridge at Berry and South 5th St. - Green Guide Editor

Make this a slow trip through NYC greatest engineering sculpture, gaze at the Domino Sugar Factory on the Brooklyn side. It is also a pretty good running spot if you can handle slopes.

Taking in the city views, approaching Brooklyn, all wrapped in the beautiful pink paint of the Williamsburg Bridge. Best way to get fresh air in the hot summer days.

Have a stroll on this magestic bridge and admire the sweaty joggers, the beards, the fur lined hats and of course, the view.

I can't comprehend the physics of how steep this thing is BOTH WAYS but the views are great. Seriously, though... so steep.

One side is for bikes, one side is for walking/running. Try and stick to the assigned sides.

Lanes are split in the middle. One side for bikes on for walk/runners. Be mindful.
