Langkawi's BEST HIDDEN GEM -Pak Malau's Nasi Dagang. The paddy field view, the fresh cooked nasi Dagang (chicken, beef or fish), the pet goose and the friendly, funny Pak Malau.
Must visit when in Langkawi. Go early before food runs out. I had the rice with tuna fish and beef curry. Both tasted really good. Good food with beautiful view of the mountains and paddy fields.
nice place to chill out at any time. the rice itself is so good. besides fish, there also chicken n beef. having nice dish wif paddy field view, get that "kampung" feeling.
Enjoyed a local breakfast- the nasi dagang with gulai ikan👍. He is a kind & a very entertaining man, communicates well in English. We were delighted when he performed some magic tricks 4 us! Awesome
Very nice nasi dagang. flavourful and delicious. Despite no air-conditioning but you won't feel hot due to the paddy field breeze. Staffs and Boss are friendly. Chicken breast is not dry but juicy.
Latest INFO: Pak Malau had moved to Dataran Helang, near the Restoran 1Malaysia area next to Chef Zack. We called his HP no. to confirm the exact location b4 heading over.
If u guys happen to go to Makam Mahsuri, stop by la ke Nasi Dagang Pak Malau. Food taste great with affordable price. Other than that, Pak Malau was awsome!!!! #nasidagangpakmalau #holiday #foodhunter
Prefer the gulai daging than gulaichicken. But the rice is very nice to chew. Every grain of the rice has chewy texture. Like a mix breed of Japanese pearlrice + glutinous rice. Per plate cost rm11.
Very nice nasi dagang operated by friendly husband and wife. 2 plate only cost rm12+. Overseeing the windy paddy field with some cattle roaming freely...
Nasi Dagang Kelantan in Langkawi. Rasa okay je. But the scenery & the friendly owner are the plus points. Pak Malau even performed some magic show to his customers.
Located next to paddy fields. Options to sit in gazebo huts (shoes off, floor seating) or regular seating (chairs). Price and portions are reasonable - not huge.
The place to be on your weekend where the "nasi dagang" is authentic, the surrounding is soothing to the eyes and the host, Pak Malau, is genuinely friendly... makes you feel truly at home.
The nasi dagang is quite tasty (6/10). However they really need to improve their service which was very slow. The scenary of sawah padi is very beautiful.
