Veronika K: New kid on the block. Good for coffee/breakfast/brunch/lunch. Looks tiny but there's actually seating inside! And a lovely - adn a bit random - brunch menu (sloppy joes, amazing pancakaes, nachos...)
Veronika K: Love this place - and it's smaller second venue in Stockbridge. Good for coffee and great tea selection. Lovely Scandanavian food and bakery. Apparently amazing pizzas!
Veronika K: Great breakfast, brunch - and huge baked goods/cake selection to have with coffee anytime (many GF!). Also have outdoor seating on a nice day.

Veronika K: Great food and totally worth the ££. What you may not know is there's a lovely courtyard where you're welcome for drinks and bar menu if you aren't up for the full dinner inside. Also fab coffee.
Veronika K: Great for dinner or lunch. Bookings are weeks in advance, but half the seating is reserved for walk-ins, so give it a go even without a reservation! Sundays have local live musicians!
Veronika K: Huge outdoor terrace for coffees or drinks in the sun, bistro pub for lunch or dinner, and a restaurant for a more fancy evening meal. Lovely exclusive fireplace waiting area for restaurant guests.
Veronika K: Best (and possibly most expensive) restaurant experience in Edinburgh. Amazing concept - 2 starters, then 1 share plate, then 2 mains...you get the idea. Definitely get the optional cheese board!

Veronika K: Cozy, candle-lit atmosphere in an ancient building with amazing knowledgeable and friendly service. One of those rare spots where you feel so comfy you can stay there for hours and hours!
Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurant · Canongate · 60 tips and reviews
Veronika K: I recommend dinner here even for non-vegetarians. Great, interesting meals and super value. Actually - it might be even more interesting if you're not a vegetarian to try something new!
Veronika K: Officially the best burgers in Edi. Love that you get the option to pick the meat and then the topping (so any burger can be a chicken burger!) And also you can have any burger without the bun.

Veronika K: Big outdoor patio, that not a lot of people know about, so it's always got space on sunny days for a lazy coffee with cake or lunch outside.
Veronika K: Go to the bistro restaurant around the corner on Thistle street, not the downstairs cafeteria on Hanover. Great vegetarian food for lunch or dinner.
French Restaurant · New Town · 18 tips and reviews
Veronika K: Amazing, rich delectable french food. And proper bossy french service where they'll tell you exactly what you should and shouldn't have and how you should have it!

Eastern European Restaurant · Leith · No tips or reviews
Veronika K: Called Zupa Kitchen - a tiny place that's easy to miss. Not a pizza place as the description says - more East European style shareable food. The perogies (dumplings) are amazing!

Veronika K: awesome set menus - so cheap and so hearty! Great for lunch adn dinner. Love their relaxed typical french comfy setting, drinking wine out of tumbler glasses ;)
Veronika K: Cool joint, slightly off the beaten track. Delicious menu, with nice small plates to have as snacks with one of their many beers, or something more hearty (like a rabbit burger!?) of the mains list.
