Amazing fresh fish. They bring in catches and dice them up here. Many varieties of poke available, but come early-once it's gone, it's gone! My favorite is the 'Shack Special'. It's kind of sweet!

We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was a native, he had lots of knowledge of kona trees as well as indigenous plants and trees. Loved the coffee and the overall atmosphere! Highly recommend.

You need to stop here if you're in Hilo. Open Wed-Sat only, 10-5. Incredible mochi and manju. Get a bunch!!
Burgers made from locally raised, grass-fed beef are wonderful--especially rare or medium rare.
If the sun's out, you will see a TON of turtles sunning, especially near the lagoon (north side of the bay). Don't bother snorkeling back there - the visibility is terrible - but bring a good camera!
Best beach I've seen so far on the island. There is no sign at the turn off. You have to look for the cemetery then the turn is right across from the cemetery. Gorgeous!

Can't imagine a better deal than the premium tasting for $8. Quaint little winery with a friendly staff. Not mind-blowing wine by any stretch but it's certainly fun and drinkable.
Macadamia nuts in every flavor you could imagine. They allow sampling of them all too! If you love macadamia nuts, stop here. They sell Kona coffee and several other local items as well.
View of the sunset is great, and the beer list is the best in Kona! Food is meh. Drink here, eat somewhere else.
