Best Asian eatery in Washington. If you are up for an adventure try the tempura-fried turbot fin with yuzu vinaigrette. Very good!
This is a DC must. The chilli is hot and plentiful and as a hot dog lover you can't beat Ben's dogs.
OK this is just plain fun. Go to the Chinatown/Gallery Place area and head here. The place will be packed so of course call ahead but the food is good. I like the pizza's but some like mini burgers

A really good place to take folks from out of town. You can walk Georgetown and then have a nice meal. Fish & Chips are my fav but lots of good pub food to be had and some good beer if you like.
