Gauthier Ginisty: Blueberry yogurt kakigori is great !Come before opening time. Or grab a ticket later in the day, and the staff will tell you when to come back. Either way, you will wait 30min - 1hour. Worth it !
Cat: A great place to eat Japanese sweet before or after your visit to katsura villa.130 years history, try their famous mugi or chestnut manju sweets. They have tables inside if you can't sit on tatami.
Adam Stallman: Hands down the best shave ice in Hawaii. They also have a policy that if you find white in ice they will load it up with a much Syrup as you want. Most of the time this isn't a problem though.

Jenny Elder: I love that this chain has its roots in Texas. The wait can be long when there are lines but they have games and a nice patio for you to enjoy. There are a lot of choices, but they do allow sampling.
Amber: Traditional Taiwanese shave ice. Their most popular dish with mango and condensed milk is simple but exactly right. Fresh, balanced, tasty. IMHO, much, much better than ice monster or smoothie house.
Alex: great seasonal and homemade flavors like matcha, kinako (soybean flour) & brown sugar, honey & lime, red bean, etc. complimentary konbu and hojicha as well. you can get 1-3 flavors regardless of size!
Omid: Try tropical flavors like Tamarind, Passion Fruit and Calamansi (Philippine Lime). Definitely get macadamia nut ice cream at the bottom--sounds weird but it's amazing.

Susan S.: The milk and honey shaved snow ice was incredible! The "snow" is creamier than normal shaved ice and the combination of tapioca pearls with honey was amazing! The jasmine milk tea was great too.
Max Perry: Avocado Mascarpone and Tiramisu, both good and massive. Avocado is more delicious at the end when it's melt with the mascarpone. Get the granola as a topping. Try the Tiramisu with extra mascarpone.

Angela Chang: Absolutely LOVE the bingsoo here - try their classic Injeolmi or green tea, both are delicious! This place is getting really popular so would suggest going earlier in the evening, ie. 6-8pm.
Deltaghs: Uncle Clay is the definition of Hawaiian Aloha. Such a wonderful and humble man. Try the Ultimate - the shave ice and flavors are awesome!! Not too sweet -- just perfect and the fruit is very fresh!
Gilbert Chan: We had the green tea shaved ice and that was very good and refreshing. The atmosphere is very relaxed, would definitely visit here again.
Clint Golub: Thomas's signature creation is a coconut with a combination of shaved ice on top. Afterwards, he'll chop up the coconut meat; it's by far the most original and delicious shaved ice on the island.
