Your car is washed with Simoniz Foam and Shine. Wheel arches and door jambs are cleaned with Simoniz Crush Plus. All Wheels are cleaned to remove brake dust using coned wheel brushes that removes all embedded contaminants.  Your vehicle will then be dried using BRAND NEW, FRESH OUT OF THE BOX microfiber drying towels.  We apply 2-3 coats of Simoniz Paint Sealant to increase the strength and durability of your paint. The most important part is to apply more than one coat.  We also wait a minimum of 60 minutes between each coating to cure.  Most sealants will cure within 1-2 hours. All paintwork, including door jambs are cleansed with a pre-wax cleaner.  Carnauba wax is applied to all paintwork, including all door jambs.  Tires, all exterior non painted surfaces are cleaned and conditioned.  Exterior windows and mirrors are cleaned and polished.  Water sealant treatment is applied to all exterior windows.  Chrome and stainless steel surfaces are polished.  This service also includes a Full Interior Detail and Lexol Leather Cleaning and Conditioning at no additional charge.  *All Vehicles are Subject to Additional Cost which Management will assess. Because we are an All By Hand Car Wash, we do admit that we take a little longer than automatic washes.  And since we at ABH stress quality over quantity, our goal has never been to be the fastest wash.  With that said, the Full Service Wash  (our standard interior & exterior wash) usually takes about 20-25 minutes.  Extra services mean more time, so if you need a little extra scrubbing, be sure to plan accordingly.  Also, the shop is most crowded on Friday afternoons, all day Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Therefore, your wash might take a little longer during those busy times.

Car owners wishing to preserve their auto investment should wash their car at least two to three times per month to protect long term damage from acid rain, salt and other harmful contaminants.  A professional detail job performed at least once a year (preferably twice) will keep the carpets and upholstery looking like new.  Research shows that resale or trade-in values for cars can be significantly increased (by more than $1500) if the exterior and interior of an automobile are well maintained.

Polish cleans and conditions the finish at the same time.  There are polishes formulated to remove paint finish issues such as hazing (white, oxidized paint that looks dull) while other polishes are formulated to remove light scratches and severe hazing.  Wax on the other hand is designed to act like a second layer of paint.  A true wax will not clean the paintwork or remove any minor scratches or swirl marks.  Waxes are available in natural carnauba and synthetic and usually is a combination of both.
