- The new metro bus makes it a lot cheaper to get to the airport (even though the path is still kinda weird). Pay 25 centavos rather than 25$ on a taxi. Handy for backpackers, you do need the card tho

- Really big with one of the biggest duty free in the world
- Cait WeingartnerApril 24, 2017Terrible airport! Don't waste your money buying any beverages as you'll have to throw them away at the gate security screening. Be prepared to have your baggage rifled through with complete disregard.
- Roberto SerranoOctober 15, 2017This airport is a great spot, just at the middle of the north and south.. restaurants too expensive ...
- Jon G. MaleikoFebruary 24, 2018Because they were running behind schedule, me and about half the other passengers on my plane weren't put through the bag scan or scanned for items on our person.

- Getting messier by the day. Too crowded, too narrow and too small. You can find overpriced games and electronics, but getting something to eat is a challenge.
- It's undergoing a major expansion and will be world class when finished
- Ivonne A.March 13, 2016Once you give the first step into Tocumen you're graced with frowned faces and indifference. Horrible. I wouldn't recommend staying there much longer than you need.
