- EaterJanuary 6, 2014At Ala Romana it's all about Roman food, with hearty, satisfying options like seafood in acqua pazza, nettle and ricotta gnocchi, and Jewish-style artichokes. There's plenty of Italian wine, too.
- Lorenzo the owner is the ultimate host. So friendly! The pumpkin arancini are a great starter. Squid ink tonarelli is killer, as are the gnocchi. And the bavette steak is perfectly seasoned & tender.

- Michael EvansDecember 21, 2013One of the best Italian meals I've had in SF. The pastas and pizzas were terrific.
