- Erica KayeMay 15, 2015Although a bit pricy and pretentious, everything here is absolutely phenomenal. Hands down, Alexander's makes the best ham and cheese croissant I have ever had. Every bite elicits an exclamation.
- Jennifer EvansJanuary 22, 2015Lovely dessert selection: macaroons, tarts, pain au chocolat. Yum, yum, yum. Coffee portions if you dine in are huge. Love the elegant design too.Upvoted Nov 2
- Janette JCJuly 2, 2017Delicious sandwiches n chocolates. Although the waiter gave me the wrong sandwich, but it was tasty. Nice hangout place.
- FrancesFebruary 4, 2015Wide variety of tarts, all were delicious. My favorite one was the orange choco ganache dome with the crispy choco covered dots around the side
- You can’t go wrong with any of the pastries. My favorites are the lemon tart, monkey bread, and macarons. Service is slow, be prepared for a wait.
- Michael MevorachJune 21, 2015Amazing desserts and great service! Tried the vanilla tart and the religieuse. just like pierre herme in Paris.
- Michael TchouJanuary 1, 2015The macaroons were amazing, very flavorful. I recommend the jasmine and lemon. Vanilla tart was also excellent!
- Enia TitovaJune 2, 2015How does this place have a lower rating than La Panotiq? This is the real deal, and La Panotiq is a cheap imitation that can't even bake a decent loaf of bread. Highly recommend for everything.
- The chocolate truffles are fantastic! Best truffles in the area since Monique (in Palo Alto) left for France.
- Trish PeachApril 5, 2015I love Alexander's for its fancy furniture and delicious treats - the lemon tart is my favorite and an excellent selection of teas.
- Time for a Kouign amann, macarons and my fav, caneles!
- Dawn JacobOctober 19, 2016Their baguettes are perfect: crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside, and ever so slightly sour.
- From the good people who brought you Alexander's Steakhouse, the other Alexander's Steakhouse, and The Sea by Alexander's Steakhouse.
- Hot chocolate is not as rich as the one from La Panotiq, which is a block away from Alexander's Patisserie.
- Sasha K.June 7, 2017While I was trying to find the second half of ganache that is supposed to be in a macaron I found a grainy top with peaks 🙄
- Show up early and pick up a fresh croissant or kouign-amann and a latte
- Michael GeerJanuary 11, 2015The croissants are great, the espresso mediocre and the anti-customer policies that obviously come from the owner (the staff are nice) are strong. I'll no longer come. Shame. Go to Red Rock or Dana.
- They have some nice breakfast options however expect to have carbs!
- Artem NedoshepaJanuary 7, 2017It used to be a nice place to enjoy some over-priced desert but the quality went down. We got a stale chocolate tart that was so bad that 2 people couldn't finish it, resulting in some stomachache.
- NanaJanuary 19, 2018This place gets crowded. They could really do a better job at customer service in paying attention to details by heating food items properly
- Shweta AgarwalFebruary 7, 2015Tried coffee tart- it was good!! Crowded even after closing, standing room only
- PaulinaJanuary 4, 2015Service is slow. Macarons have an inconsistent consistency. Some chewy, some crunchy.
- Andrew ZaengleinJune 28, 2015Everything's great, and worth the wait! I just dropped a mad rhyme. Does anyone even use "mad" anymore? Point is . . . don't let the trendy crowd scare you away, it's legit.
- Jacques ChiracNovember 9, 2015Pastries are too sweet and too expensive. People go there to show off.
