This is my childhood! I grew up right here on this street. It shaped me in so many ways and when I pass by it makes me reminisce about where it all began.

There used to be a Tower Records here where I had one of my 1st signings. It had the best variety of all kinds of music! Every time an album of mine comes out I pick a store to go buy a few copies lol
My mother exposed me to broadway early! Since she loves the theatre so much she helped to instill it in me. It was like being transported to a whole other world once I stepped through those doors...
We did the video 4 "You Don't Know My Name" at my FAVORITE breakfast spot where I'd go 2 write Songs in A Minor. Later it burnt down! So sad! I can only imagine the history of people that walked there
I started going here when I was 12, a few years after it opened. I liked to consider myself a mix between cool AND brains! I worked hard for it! I was really proud when I graduated as valedictorian.
