@JaumePrimeroNovember 27, 2011For those of you who don't know, there is no snowboarding allowed in Alta. One of the reasons why I love this resort so very much. 10,550 feet, vertical drop of 2020 feet, 116+ runs!

- Molly GilbertMarch 28, 2011Follow the skiers in Arcteryx jackets on traverses. They will show you the light. Just don't come to a dead stop on the traverse or else they'll show you the back of their glove.

- Snowboarders are not allowed to take the lift, but if you board over from Snowbird, you can slide down the mountain.
$25 lift tickets - good for the entire mountain after 2:30pm
locals need to check out the new Gold card option:- It's hard to say which is better, Alta vs Snowbird. I love em both!

Jon WhiteFebruary 16, 2012snowboarder? Access this skier only resort through the mt baldy gate off snowbird. Be prepared for some hate on the way down!
