- Richard HuntMay 9, 2014What more can you say? It's CHICAGO! They did a good job on the movie, but to see it live is an experience. Do not expect the story line to be exactly the same as the movie, but GO SEE IT!
- Concert Ticket AgencyAugust 26, 2012This is the only Broadway theater built diagonally so that it could accomodate the most number of seats possible for the awkward shape of the plot of land it was built on. A true New York original!Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- Carlos PereaNovember 10, 2012Great musical . Amy S. did a great job as Roxie Hart as well as the whole cast. Billy Ray Cyrus's singing was superb, he just has to add a lil more Razzle to his physical performance. Loved the show!!Upvoted 1 week ago
- New York HabitatMay 15, 2012Go see this dazzling musical in the Ambassador Theatre, a New York City Landmark! To get discounted tickets, try the TKTS booth on Times Square on the day of the performance!
- NicoleSeptember 15, 2017I've been in theaters all over the world, and this is one of the most uncomfortable ones yet. The seats are cramped and low. Chicago was nice, but the choreography was not at all how I expected.
- Fatou BahAugust 3, 2015BRANDY TAKES CHICAGO. Had the pleasure of seeing Brandy Norwood slay as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She also comes out to greet all fans. Great show!
- Leslie GreenbaumDecember 19, 2012The show Chicago on stage is different than the movie, some I've never heard before, the cast was terrific, the woman that played roxie&velma where fantastict, billy ray was good as billy the lawyer,
- Angel MonjarasJune 14, 2014Get a big bag of dark chocolate M&Ms from the store a block away, order a double red wine at the theater, and enjoy the show!
- Anthony CameronAugust 19, 2017Great show, but awful old theatre. The design of the seating isn't great and there are so few toilets that the queue for the gents was huge.
- Daniela VélezJune 13, 2017Excelent play!! Chicago is absolutely funny and breathtaking. The seats at back might have a fuzzy view
- Tim AyresJanuary 18, 2017We, having not been to a Broadway show before, didn't realize how expensive the drinks are! $25 for a double. Did come with a nifty sippy cup, so there's that!
- Alessandra RNovember 14, 2013Be sure to get to the box office early on the day of the show and use your valid student ID to get tickets for $37. For shows that are sold old, pay $25 for standing room only!
- BrainardAugust 12, 2010great show, the cast is fantastic and this is what broadway is all about, i would see it again!
- Christina SeesJuly 16, 2010If you don't like the show the first time around try it again with a new cast. The cast is always changing!
- Віталій ТимчишинAugust 11, 2013Tickets at Times Square discount office were not cheap. Get coupon from one of bunch of internet sites and get tickets in the theater itself. It was 60 vs 105 per ticket.
- Franziska GostnerMay 13, 2017Buy your ticket online to avoid waiting and to arrive only 10min before. Chicago is a must
- EdwardFebruary 3, 2013Such an awesome show! The theater is kinda old, but it's definitely not falling apart. Will come back for another showing!
- Ryan RossAugust 6, 2014Make sure you don't leave Manhattan without going to see Chicago. It is every bit as good as they all say it is.
- Metin GulgezJanuary 3, 2016"Chicago the musical", a must see Broadway Show deserves its every single penny 👏👏👏
- Tahir KNovember 12, 2010I'm surprised that the city of New York hasn't investigated this theater for not having adequate toilet facilities. If you need to go you're out of luck. The show was great.
- Dustin RyenNovember 4, 2011Use tkts booth to get 50 percent off with a portion of proceeds going to charity. The brooklyn tkts (that's how they spell it) booth has more to chose from (less people go to it).
- LauraSeptember 13, 2014Chicago is a great show. The theatre is a small place, that's cool, but it was a bit cold yesterday.
- Molly L WSeptember 5, 2011If you're lucky enough to catch Charlotte d'Amboise as Roxie, you're in for a treat. The best performance in this show I've ever seen.
- Paul WagnerSeptember 4, 2011There's only one small men's room so if you need to go at intermission, get there as fast as you can to avoid the line
- Anthony ZacharzewskiApril 7, 2016Really steep rake to the seats, even low row numbers in the mezzanine are pressed up against the ceiling.
- Blair BaxterMay 17, 2011The bathroom in this theater is on the 2nd floor and it is tiny, run to get in line at intermission or go before just in case.
- Intan TajudinNovember 20, 2010Chicago The Musical was amazing. Clever and witty. The cast kept me entertained till the very last second. Leigh Zimmerman played Velma Kelly too well!
- Chrissy FJune 2, 2013Adam Pascal was WONDERFUL as Billy Flynn! Haven't seen him act before and I would see it again before he leaves!
- Broadway LeagueDecember 9, 2010For all your Broadway show needs, check out ilovenytheater.com, or come see me at the Broadway Concierge and Ticket Center at the Times Square Visitor Center (B'way & 47th). See you there!
- Carina-Therese KarlsenFebruary 27, 2014Must have been a great show. I was sleeping from after the break. I wonder what happened, how things ended.... Hmm..
- Lara BuongiornoSeptember 11, 2011The drinks (non alcoholic) are $10. I had to refinance my house for a drink for me and my mom. Also, cash only. No ATM in building.
- Desirree CruzMarch 8, 2012I enjoyed the show, but the theatre is really run down, didn't look too clean to me,tiny seats, small bathroom, they should do some renovations. Ushers & Bartenders were nice.
