The Baileys shake made with homemade soft serve custard is reason I come here. The food is good too. Nice to sit by window and watch the world go by.

I see a lot of negative reviews but I have to say, the Ruben and the bloody were both excellent. Perfect pre-Lolla food.

Saw the bad reviews and was really surprised. I guess they may have seen them bc the service was great, food was great, and the patio is a great experience. So they definitely have improved.

Both times I've visited Chicago (most recently last week) I've eaten here and have had no issues. Friendly staff, quick service and great food.

Pleasant surprise in light of the negative reviews. Waitress was helpful in referring me to the right menu item. I had some sort of caprese salad that was fresh, tasty & filling! Decent value.

Don't get anything that costs more than 8 dollars, because that's what the food is worth. Got the A Burger with fries and a coke for $7. Worth it. Spacey and awkward staff, but ultimately charming.

Overpriced and they took their sweet time making my order (which was simple & was in a hurry). Athenian smoothie was great, perfect breakfast. Croissant was terrible, more like croissant shaped bread

Teachers from Bollingbrook Il. Are super douchey for not participating in my students Daybook project. English teachers at that!

This place needs Gordon Ramsay's help. Macaroni & cheese made with Velveeta. Dry pre-made salads. Amex and cash only. Seriously?

TERRIBLE service. Avoid if you can. We suffered through a tedious wait (like waiting for coffee cream more than 10 minutes while coffee went cold) at least three different tables of people walked out

Avoid coffee drinks. Not as good as they look an the menu. Great location. Has an 'old-school' cafe feel to it.

A real letdown. Food took forever and lacked flavor. You can make better sandwiches at home (and avoid paying $12+ per plate).

Avoid milkshakes. Decent -quiet- breakfast. Lunch too expensive in the summer but justified, kinda, by outdoor seating and location.

Meh. Not terrible as far as iced cafe goes. The appetizers taste like they came from my grocer's frozen food aisle.
