The Bayou is a beautiful Washington version of New Orleans. Po boys are wonderful, ambiance feels authentic, dirty rice taste great. Get the hurricane and feel like you are on Bourbon St.

Incredible fried green tomatoes. Blackened catfish that tasted just like my childhood. The Marie Laveau is a great cocktail, but ask for a bit more sour mix.

Go there for brunch and get the bayou benedict. Perfectly crafted hollaindase sauce. Also, best bloody mary in DC.
